Madison Gymnastics is hosting it's 3rd annual competition on January 20th and 21st, here at the gym. 881 Jetstream dr. Rexburg ID. Here are the meet times:

Happy New Year!

Also, on January 20th and 21st the Madison Gymnastics Center Booster Club will be hosting the third annual Yellowstone Challenge competition. Come and watch some awesome gymnastics.

Closing dates

We will be closed for Christmas and New Years from December 19th-30th. Classes will resume on January 2nd regular scheduled times, there is no need to re-enroll. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Fall Showcase

The last olympics for the year will be the fall showcase on the morning of December 10th. This is a great opportunity for parents to see what their kids have been learning at gymnastics. The cost will be $3 per gymnast. Every gymnast gets a medal and a treat at the end. Be sure to bring your camera. Sign ups will begin the last week in October at the front desk!

Handstand World Record Event

September 17th is National Gymnastics Day and we are celebrating by trying to break the world record for the amount of handstands done at the same time! We need as many people to come and participate as possible! All around the United States, gymnastics clubs are having people kick up into handstands at 11am our time! Madison Gymnastics Center is hosting the event and providing free hotdogs and soft drinks to participants. After the official event at exactly 11:00, there will be a carnival put on by the booster club in order to support the competitive gymnasts in the area :) Bring all you friends and family, and we will see you there!!!

All good things must come to an end...even summer!

Most of us don't even want to think about summer coming to an end, but inevitably Rexburg will soon be covered in snow. Fall sign ups will start on Monday, July 18th. If you would like a copy in the mail, leave a comment with your name and address, and we will send you one. We will also have it posted on our website by the first week in August at madisongymnasticscenter.com. Typically (and hopefully) slots for our classes fill up quickly, so if you want to be sure to get in a class with your favorite coach (Sam, Justin, Mallory, Katie, Autumn, Valerie, Annie, or Chelsea) then sign up as soon as possible. If you are a new student, you will need to come in to madison gymnastics center to sign up. If you are currently enrolled, or have been enrolled in the past year, you can call us at 208-359-3111.

Our educational preschoool will be starting the first week in September. We still have spots available for 3 day a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) for $95 a month, and our 2 days a week (Tue, Thur or Mon, Wed) for $65 a month. Sign up before July 31st, to receive $5 off a month through December 2011. We are confident our preschool is the most fun and active preschool in town!

Summer Time!

We are currently in our second week of summer schedule, and having a great time! We are open year round, and always enrolling! It's not too late to sign up for summer classes. Our summer olympics is scheduled to be on Saturday August 13th, so schedule it on your calendar today.

To our boys team members who competed at regionals this past weekend: We are so proud of you! Level 7s-Braden Price Parker Higbee-took 4th place on vault Level 9s-Ryker Shaw-took 3rd place all around, and is on the national team Brigham Youngstrom took 10th place all around, and will be going to nationals Level 10s- Jeremy Starks-took 16th all around in the region Britton Youngstrom-took 18th all around in the region Fantastic job! Ryker and Brigham will be competing at the national competition in California the first week in May.

Yellowstone Challenge!

On January 14th and 15th Madison Gymnastics Center will be hosting the Yellowstone Challenge Gymnastics Meet. The Boys session will be Friday January 14th warm ups starting at 530pm, and the Girls session will be Saturday January 15th warm ups starting at 8am. Over 100 gymnasts will be competing and showing off their skills. Come watch and support the Booster Club. Ticket costs at the door are $4 per person, and $15 per family. Hope to see you there!

Fall Showcase Fun

Holiday Closures

The gym will be closed from December 18th to January 2nd. Classes will resume on January 3rd, and you do not need to re sign up for January classes. We assume if you have not put your child on the drop sheet, then you will be in the same class starting again in January :) The 2 week closure does not effect your tuition. We run on a 4 week schedule, so December tuition will run from November 22nd to December 17th. You can pick up the 2011 4 week schedule at the front desk starting December 10th.

Though the weather outside is frightful...

We are still open today November 22nd and tomorrow November 23rd. Check the Thanksgiving schedule post if you don't know what time your class is scheduled for. Just a reminder: we are always open except for scheduled closures like Thanksgiving and Christmas, but if the weather is too crazy for you to get here, please don't try to drive, but schedule a makeup with the front desk instead. Fall Showcase is coming!

This is a chance for your child to show friends and family what they have been learning the past few months, and for you to take lots of pictures! Each child will get the chance to perform, and will receive a medal on the award stand. 3/4 and 5/6 year old classes will start at 10:00am and Girls and Boys level 1-3 and power tumbling level 1-2 will perform at 11:15 am. There will also be a coach's performance!! Cost is $3 per child. Sign up at the front desk!

Thanksgiving Schedule

The Gym will be closed November 24th-26th to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will be holding classes on Monday and Tuesday November 22nd and 23rd. If you normally come to class twice a week, then you will come both days.

Parent and Tot, 3 and 4 year olds, 5 and 6 year olds class times:

If you normally come to gymnastics class on a Monday or Wednesday, your class time will be Monday morning from 930-11am. If you normally come on a Tuesday or Thursday, your class time will be on Tuesday morning from 930-11am.

1st-4th Grades class times:

If you normally come to class on a Monday or a Wedneday, your class time will be on Monday from 3-430pm. If you normally come to class on a Tuesday or a Thursday, your class time will be on Tuesday from 3-430pm.

5th Grade and up class times:

If you normally come to class on a Monday or Wednesday, your class time will be on Monday from 430-6pm. If you normally come to class on a Tuesday or Thursday, your class time will be on Tuesday from 430-6pm.

*If you are not able to make it to your scheduled class time for this week, just schedule a makeup with the front desk.
